Evolv, Inc. (“Evolv”) takes privacy very seriously. Because we respect the privacy of everyone who visits this site, we have established this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to help you understand how we collect and use personally identifiable information about visitors to the Evolv website (http://www.evolvondemand.com, or “the Site”). Your use of the Site signifies your acceptance of this Policy.
In general, you can visit the Site on the World Wide Web without indicating to us who you are or divulging any personally identifiable information about yourself. Note that Evolv may collect some “Personally Identifiable Information” – defined as any information that can be used to identify a specific individual, such as name, address, telephone number or email address – as expressly provided to us by visitors to the Site. We collect such information, at your consent, to gather information around your interests, queries and requests. Such information may be gathered either via the Site or via email. Where we collect Personally Identifiable Information through the use of online forms, you will be made aware of which fields are mandatory for the specific functionality you are requesting, and which fields are optional. If you choose to provide optional information, Evolv may use and disclose such information for purposes such as but not limited to: to respond to queries, to provide newsletters and other requested information, to register you for seminars (if applicable) and to provide you with further information about our products and services. We may also collect Personally Identifiable Information when users register to download research documents, case studies and similar materials from the Site. Personally identifiable information collected by Evolv may be stored in the United States or any other country in which Evolv or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. If you choose to provide us with Personally Identifiable Information, you are agreeing to share that information with Evolv and its subsidiaries, affiliates and business partners.
Evolv’s business operations rely on the utilization of various third-party service providers and/or contractors. As a result, we may share Personally Identifiable Information with, and not limited to, the following parties: web site hosting or information technology consulting services, web site management services, auditors, lawyers, back-up and security services, contractors, and marketing and promotion partners or services. In addition, Evolv may disclose Personally Identifiable Information to the extent that it is necessary to: (a) comply with legal processes; (b) comply with applicable laws; (c) respond to governmental requests; (d) protect the rights, property, safety and privacy of Evolv, its users, its customers or the general public; (e) allow Evolv to pursue resolutions or curtail damages that we may encounter and sustain.
It is our intention not to collect Personally Identifiable Information from parties under 18 years of age. Parties that are under 18 years of age and that are interested in utilizing the Site in such a manner that it requires such parties to provide Personally Identifiable Information should have their parent or legal guardian submit such requests on their behalf.
Evolv may collect non-Personally Identifiable Information during visits to the Site. Such information may include web sites from which visitors linked to the Site, demographic data on visitors to the Site and internet browsers utilized and will not and cannot be used to specifically identify individuals. Such information, which may be used to better understand factors such as the Site’s effectiveness or usage patterns, may be shared with third-parties.
Evolv may use "cookies" to customize information to visitors’ preferences and also to simplify visitors’ access and to measure activity of the Site. A cookie is a small amount of information that a web site may transfer for storage onto a computer's hard drive. For instance, cookies enable a website to remember information from a visitor’s previous visit and eliminate the need to repeatedly enter certain information. Visitors can configure their web browsers to reject cookies; however access to the Site may be slower and not optimized for their individual preferences. Further, some pages may not load properly. Note that our business partners may use cookies on their sites, and that Evolv is only responsible for cookies on the Site. This Policy only covers cookies on the Site.
The Site may have links that lead to outside web sites that are outside the control of Evolv. Note that the Policy only governs activity on the Site. To the extent that you are led to an external site, we encourage you to become familiar with that site’s privacy policy.
Evolv takes reasonable steps to protect the security of collected data and to prevent unauthorized access to and improper use of such data. Information collected via contact forms on the Site is encrypted and protected with Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) software, the industry standard. In addition, Evolv has in place appropriate managerial procedures designed to protect collected data that resides off-line. Access to such data is subject to restricted access in our physical offices.
This Policy may be amended from time to time, and such amendments will be reflected on this page so that visitors will have access to the most up-to-date Policy. Your use of the Site signifies your acceptance of the Policy in force at any given time.
