Evolv’s “today” market focus is the contact center industry. Our market-tested and scientifically proven Talent Intelligence platform has improved the profitability and competitiveness of some of the world’s largest brands. And we’ll continue to grow in contact centers as they become increasingly strategic assets.

But our expertise and potential for impact extends well beyond contact centers. Our “tomorrow” focus is on expanding our footprint to other industries that struggle to hire great people and that would benefit from using Evolv’s solution. Our team knows a little something about using science and technology to make a better match between employers and employees in all of the industries listed below: we’ve designed, developed, and deployed science-based hiring platforms that were used to screen over 100 million applicants and hire over 21 million people across them.

The following verticals have reached out to Evolv to inquire about using our solution. We are currently developing next generation versions of our platform for each of them, and are evaluating interested companies well suited to start using our platform in beta. Retail

Challenges Experienced:  High turnover due to the difficulty of sustaining productivity and positive attitude while managing challenging face-to-face interactions with customers. Negative profitability outcomes due to undesired employee behavior, such as inventory shrinkage, sub-par store performance, and unplanned attendance/absence-related staffing shortages.

Qualifications for Evolv Beta:  Retail workforce of at least 10,000 front-line employees. Substantial monthly hiring volume across more than 5 retail locations simultaneously. Use of enterprise-class systems such as Oracle, SAP and Workday to track objective employee-related retention and productivity outcomes.

Hospitality

Challenges Experienced:  Difficulty hiring a dependable workforce of consistent quality to reinforce the company brand to end customers, and to work shifts that frequently change and/or require constant flexibility and adaptability. Expensive resource drain due to constant hiring activity to fill for high attrition.

Qualifications for Evolv Beta:  Hospitality workforce of at least 10,000 front-line employees. Substantial monthly hiring volume across more than 10 locations simultaneously. Centralized decision-making structure for enacting company-wide changes to hiring and recruiting practices (e.g. not a franchise-model). Use of Oracle/Peoplesoft or other enterprise applications to track retention and performance outcomes.

Restaurants/Fast-Casual Dining

Challenges Experienced:  High turnover due to difficulty hiring employees who can consistently show up for shift-based work. Poor customer satisfaction from last-minute staffing shortages related to high frequency of job aborts/abandonment. Negative profitability outcomes due to undesired employee behavior, such as inventory theft, inaccurate cost-accounting, or ineffective demand-planning.

Qualifications for Evolv Beta: 
Workforce of at least 5,000 front-line restaurant employees. Use of Kronos, WorkBrain or other enterprise-class time-and-attendance software platform. Use of ADP, Paychex or other enterprise-class payroll system.
